The Spartans hold a four-game win streak in Bloomington dating back to 2018 after falling 24-21 at Indiana in overtime in 2016.
Ahead of next Saturday's game, MSU will look to get back in the win column against UCLA on Saturday in Spartan Stadium. Michigan State's homecoming game against the Bruins is set for Noon on the Big Ten Network. The Spartans will enter that matchup at 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the Big Ten after falling on the road to then No. 25 USC in Week Four and at Nebraska this past weekend. The Bruins just defeated then No. 7 Penn State in Pasadena on Saturday, defeating the Nittany Lions 42-37 for their first win of the year.
IU travels to No. 3 Oregon to take on the Ducks. Kick is set for 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time with IU sitting at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten play. The Hoosiers dismantled then No. 9 Illinois to open conference play and won at Iowa in Week Five before having this past weekend off for a bye week.
The Spartans-Hoosiers series dates back to 1922 and Saturday will mark the 72nd game in the series. The IU series marks MSU's third-most played series of any opponent, trailing the Michigan and Notre Dame series, respectively. The 50 wins in the series for MSU is its most against any opponent, besting the 40 over Northwestern and 38 against the Wolverines.
