Michigan State gets midafternoon start time on the Big Ten Network for game at Minnesota
Michigan State's Week 10 game time and network information for the game against Minnesota has been released by the Big Ten
Michigan State will return to the road in Week 10 when it visits Minnesota on Nov. 1. The Spartans and Golden Gophers will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time with the game being carried on the Big Ten Network.
MSU will make its second-straight visit to Minneapolis in the 50th meeting between the two programs. The Spartans hold a 30-19 lead in the all-time series, including a 13-12 mark in Minneapolis. The Gophers have won the past two games in the series despite MSU having won five of the last seven matchups and 24 of the past 32 meetings dating back to 1977, but the Spartans are also at .500 in games played at Huntington Bank Stadium, sitting at 2-2 overall. MSU fell 27-12 in its last visit to Minneapolis on Oct. 28, 2023.
Before MSU makes the flight up to Minnesota next week, it will look to get back in the win column again and notch its first Big Ten victory when it hosts Michigan Saturday night at Spartan Stadium. The Spartans enter that matchup 3-4 on the season and having lost their first four conference games of the season dating back to a road trip to USC last month. MSU fell 38-13 at No. 3 Indiana over the past weekend.
The Gophers are coming off a 24-6 victory at home over Nebraska this past weekend and head to Iowa City to take on Iowa in Week Nine. Minnesota enters that rivalry matchup at 5-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play on the season. Kick is set for 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time on CBS for any MSU fans wanting to scout the opponent ahead of MSU's primetime game against the Wolverines.
