Michigan State’s availability report for the rivalry game against Michigan is out. The Spartans will be dealing with a number of players out due to injury.
Michigan State’s official availability report for Saturday’s rivalry matchup against No. 25 Michigan has been released.
The Spartans will be without several players for Saturday's matchup, in addition to many other players who are out for the 2025 season due to injury. Listed as out for the Spartans on offense are wide receiver Alante Brown, tight ends Jayden Savoury and Brennan Parachek, and offensive lineman Kristian Phillips.
As for defense, the Spartans will miss linebacker Marcellius Pulliam and defensive back Ade Willie on Saturday night.
Regarding special teams, the Spartans continue to be without kicker Tarik Ahmetbasic and long snapper Kaden Schickel. Both player have been out with injuries for the majority of the season.
Despite these losses, Michigan State will welcome back two key starters in safety Nikai Martinez and left tackle Stanton Ramil. Both players have been out since Sept. 20.
No players are listed as questionable for the game, but the Green and White have a lengthy list of players who will miss the remainder of the 2025 season. However, there are no surprises on this list, as all of these players have previously been ruled out for the campaign. This list includes rush end Anelu Lafaele, defensive backs Caleb Gash and Andrew Brinson IV, offensive linemen Luka Vincic and Ashton Lepo, and linebacker Brady Pretzlaff.
Michigan State will look to overcome these absences as it faces a crucial test of its season against the rival Wolverines.
As for Michigan, the Wolverines will be without quarterback Davis Warren, safety Rod Moore, running back Micah Ka'apana, offensive tackle Evan Link and tight end Hogan Hansen. Running back Justice Haynes and offensive lineman Brady Norton are questionable for Michigan, but reports suggest Haynes will play.
