Michigan State will host UCLA at noon Eastern Time at Spartan Stadium on Oct. 11 for the Spartans' 2025 homecoming game. The kickoff time was previously announced, but the TV channel was just unveiled on Monday for the upcoming game in East Lansing.
Fans can watch the contest between UCLA and MSU on the Big Ten Network.
Michigan State is currently 3-1 overall and 0-1 in Big Ten play following a 45-31 loss to then-No. 25-ranked USC in Los Angeles on Sept. 20. The Spartans are coming off of their first of two bye weeks for the 2025 campaign, and will play at Nebraska on Oct. 4 (4 p.m. Eastern Time/3 p.m. Central Time on FS1). The Cornhuskers currently have an identical record to the Spartans at 3-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
It's been a tumultuous season for UCLA. The Bruins currently have an overall record of 0-4 and a Big Ten record of 0-1. Following an 0-3 start, UCLA fired head coach DeShaun Foster. Tim Skipper is currently the interim head coach. The Bruins are coming off a 17-14 road loss to Northwestern. UCLA hosts No. 7 Penn State at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena (3:30 p.m. Eastern Time/12:30 p.m. Pacific Time on CBS).
The Oct. 11 meeting will mark the seventh all-time matchup between the Spartans and Bruins, but the first since 1974. With UCLA now in the Big Ten, the two programs will face off more often, including in 2026 in Pasadena. The all-time series is tied 3-3, with Michigan State winning the first three meetings and UCLA winning the previous three contests.
Michigan State head coach Jonathan Smith is a Pasadena native. Smith is 2-0 in career against UCLA, defeating the Bruins in 2019 and 2023 as the head coach of Oregon State.
