After an 84-56 win - and having moved to 5-0 on the season - the mood in most locker rooms would match the scoreboard, but the Spartans' locker room wasn’t loud in celebration after taking down Detroit Mercy.
They weren’t tense or frustrated, but rather analytical about their undefeated start - and hungry in the areas that they believe need improvement.
After head coach Tom Izzo expressed his disappointment in the team's overall consistency, the players echoed this message, not letting their hot start override their discipline.
