Michigan State couldn’t finish against Minnesota and now Jonathan Smith is running out of time

I got a text from a friend of mine after the game was over Saturday evening. His team, Minnesota, had beaten Michigan State in overtime earlier in the day but he didn’t know that until he right before he texted me.

“I turned the game off after the long rush at the end of the 4th quarter,” he admitted.

He had assumed Michigan State would finish it off from there.

He obviously hadn’t watched much Spartan football this year.
