Michigan State Football: Takeaways from the 23-20 loss to Minnesota
Michigan State fell to the Golden Gophers in overtime, extending the team's losing streak to six games.

It seems like every week, Michigan State finds a way to lose in a more frustrating way than the week before. This one was pretty close.
The Spartans overcame early first-half struggles and took the lead in the closing minutes of regulation. It finally looked like the Spartans might be able to string things together and get their first Big Ten win this season.
But Minnesota marched down the field and tied the game, and the Spartans went on to lose in overtime. That extended the losing streak to six games, and now Michigan State needs to win out to make a bowl game.
