
Michigan State makes early impression on 2028 four-star DL Ayden Woodruff after visit and offer
Four-star class of 2028 defensive lineman discusses his visit to Michigan State and offer from the Spartans.
Class of 2028 four-star defensive lineman Ayden Woodruff visited Michigan State over the weekend and left East Lansing with a scholarship offer.
Woodruff, who currently attends Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, is a a top-100 player in the 247Sports Composite rankings, checking in at No. 98 overall, and as the No. 14 defensive lineman and No. 3 player in the state of Tennessee in the 2028 class. In the Rivals Industry rankings, Woodruff ranks as the No. 105 prospect overall, No. 12 defensive lineman and No. 3 recuit in his home state.
Woodruff was in town to watch Michigan State take on rival Michigan for the Paul Bunyan Trophy. While the Spartans came up short in a 31-20 loss to the Wolverines, it was a memorable experience for the Tennessee native. He was impressed with the crowd at Spartan Stadium and enjoyed the environment.
The visit became extra special for Woodruff when MSU defensive line coach Legi Suiaunoa offered him in person.
