Season highs on bars and floor carry Spartans after beam stumble

EAST LANSING, Mich. – No. 11 Michigan State leaned on explosive performances on uneven bars and floor exercise to defeat No. 21 Ohio State, 197.300–196.850, Saturday night inside Jenison Field House during its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Meet.

The Spartans improved to 6-4 overall and 4-2 in Big Ten competition, stretching their conference win streak to four meets. MSU surpassed the 197.000 mark for the fourth straight week and posted season highs on bars (49.400) and floor (49.600).
