Tom Izzo: "It was sad the way we found a way to lose that game"
Michigan State had chances late in Lincoln, but Izzo said turnovers and toughness decided the 58-56 loss to Nebraska.

Tom Izzo didn't want to linger long in Lincoln after the loss.
After Michigan State’s 58–56 loss at Nebraska — a game that slipped away in the final second when Carson Cooper missed two free throws that would have tied it — Izzo was blunt, frustrated, and already looking forward.
“We’re getting the hell out of here,” he said to the MSU radio announcers after the game. “That bus is leaving shortly. We're going, getting home.”
The tone fit the night.
